DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting a range of analytical tasks, as well as performing preventative maintenance and repair work on a diverse fleet of construction equipment, trucks, and automobiles. The machinery you will be working on is powered by either gasoline or diesel engines, requiring a comprehensive understanding of various systems. Your duties will include repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems, electrical components, heating and cooling systems, exhaust systems, and both manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting state vehicle inspections for all assigned equipment that necessitates such evaluations. It is essential to complete all required work orders diligently, accurately record the time spent on each task, and promptly report any accidents or damage to the equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency of the fleet.
