Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist :

Assist physicians during interventional procedures such as angiography, stenting, biopsies, and vascular access

Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and specialized IR equipment

Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile fields

Monitor patient status and provide support throughout procedures

Document imaging, patient information, and procedural details accurately

Ensure safety standards, radiation protection, and compliance with hospital protocols

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience

ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT-VI or CI preferred

Valid state license

Strong knowledge of vascular and interventional procedures

Excellent teamwork and communication skills
