Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 24 / 2025 – End : 2 / 22 / 2026)

Shift : 8-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday (07 : 00 AM – 03 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 40

Call Requirement : Required; minimum 1x per week (weekday 11p-7a), max 2 calls per week, and one weekend every 5th weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 24 hours each day). Must be able to report within 30 minutes when called in.

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and valid RN License (Registered Nurse) – New Jersey nursing jobs

Current BLS (AHA) certification

Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire

Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire

Minimum 1 year of perioperative nursing experience or on-the-job training

Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certification (AORN) preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Pre / Post Op experience preferred

Ability to take call as required

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults

Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists

Supervise and guide OR Technicians and other healthcare personnel

Maintain efficient patient flow, unit organization, and compliance with hospital policies

Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services

Serve as a resource for other clinical staff

Respond to call requirements and report to the facility within 30 minutes when called in
