Role Definition

Provides expertise, guidance, and performs underwriting while adhering to organizational guidelines, policies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Follows up-to-date regulatory requirements, industry best practices, trends and business requirements.
• Providing solutions and support for large and complex underwriting risk evaluation processes in a given line of business.
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced underwriters in handling underwriting issues; developing and delivering corresponding training according to departmental needs.
• Advising on the monitoring of loss experience and business conditions of key accounts as well as loss trends and any relevant legal or economic factors affecting a given line of business.

Skills Required

This position requires the successful candidate to work full time, five days per week in the Nashville main office.

Summary Pay Range

$116,532.00 - $216,384.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
