Travel RN Job Details – Telemetry Unit Location : Wichita, KS 67214 (Kansas nursing jobs) Facility Setting : Telemetry Unit (3rd Floor, Building 4) Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) contract Start Date : December 22, 2025 End Date : March 23, 2026 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Weekly Hours : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570 Unit Size : 37 beds Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 (general), 1 : 4 (Heart Cath patients) Modern Equipment : PCA pumps, IV pumps, chest tubes EMR System : Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing or acute care experience Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Positive attitude and strong communication skills Travel RN Responsibilities – Telemetry Unit Deliver direct patient care and continuous cardiac monitoring in a busy Telemetry unit Manage and monitor central lines, medication drips, and heart catheterization recovery Perform bubble studies and assist with chest tube management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality nursing care This travel nursing assignment provides exposure to advanced technology, a supportive clinical staff, and the chance to make a real impact in a leading Wichita healthcare environment.
