MICU RN Job Details Location : Dallas, TX 75230 (Dallas healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Travel RN contract) Setting : Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU nursing job) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM), rotating weekends Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : November 4, 2025 End Date : February 3, 2026 Employment Type : Travel Nurse Contract On-Site Position Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360-$1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses; Texas nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent MICU or MSICU experience (critical care nursing) BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficient with ICU equipment : ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitors Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred CCRN certification preferred (critical care registered nurse) Compliance with hospital dress code : Royal Blue scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair, covered tattoos when possible MICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the MICU Perform and assist with ICU procedures : central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations Monitor and manage patients using advanced ICU equipment Document patient care accurately using Meditech Float to other hospital units as needed (flexible nursing support) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all hospital policies, including attendance and dress code guidelines Apply now to join our Dallas healthcare team as a MICU Registered Nurse and make a difference in critical care nursing!
