SUMMARY : The Coach assists the Head Coach in various aspects of the Competitive Basketball Program including training, and coaching team members. The Coach is required to abide by rules / regulations set by LGS Recreation as well as the rules / regulations set by participating Agencies / Entities.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
At least one year experience coaching middle and / or high school basketball.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must have current certificates in CPR, First Aid, NFHS Coaching, Cardiac Arrest, and Concussion at time of hire.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Ability to abide by rules / regulations for competitive play.
