Seeking a Process Technician for an injection molding manufacturer :

Responsible for setting up, monitoring, and optimizing the molding machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality plastic parts. Oversee a small team too.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation – Sets up injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment before production runs.

Process Optimization – Adjusts process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle times, etc.) to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and ensure quality.

Troubleshooting – Diagnoses and resolves issues such as part defects, machine malfunctions, or process deviations.

Quality Assurance – Inspects molded parts for defects, performs measurements, and ensures products meet customer and regulatory specifications.

Maintenance & Safety – Performs minor maintenance on molding equipment, ensures proper use of materials, and follows safety protocols.

Documentation – Records machine settings, process changes, production data, and quality checks for traceability.

Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of injection molding machines (brands like Engel, Milacron, Haitian, etc.).

Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards .

Familiarity with plastics, resins, and material properties .

Hands-on problem-solving and mechanical skills.

Often requires 2–5 years of injection molding experience or equivalent technical training.
