Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in nursing, specifically as a CVOR Technician. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with specialized knowledge in cardiovascular operating room procedures and technology.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Proven experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) technology and nursing practices
  • Strong understanding of surgical instruments, equipment handling, and sterile techniques within the CVOR setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff during procedures
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in a high-pressure operating room environment
  • Relevant certifications and licensure as required for CVOR tech professionals

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room in pliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Assist surgical teams by handling instruments and equipment during cardiovascular surgeries
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes during CVOR procedures
  • Manage inventory and ensure all necessary tools are available and functioning properly
  • Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed records as required
