Responsibilities

- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions; provide consultative services.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives; review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement; implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice; stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements; participate in quality audits.
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices; participate in ongoing medical education and training; contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments; diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement patient care plans; prescribe medications and therapies; provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals; consult with physicians and specialists as needed; coordinate patient care across various settings.
Job Requirements
A valid and unrestricted California medical license.Board eligible or board certified in a specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA).Completion of an accredited postgraduate training program.Opportunity Highlights
