Volt is immediately hiring for Press Operator in Visalia, Ca.

Paid 1st lunch

As a Press operator   you will :

The Press Operator is responsible for safe and competent operation of the 6 color Comco and 4 color Kidder Flexographic press. The press operator is also responsible for safety, print quality, production, and housekeeping

• Perform all job setups as required
• Load and unload anilox rolls and plate cylinders
• Ensure printing plates are in proper order
• Register print
• Match color using computer and by eye
• Load and unload paper rolls
• Check print quality a minimum of twice per mill roll
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Check pH and viscosity as necessary
• Ensure doctor blades are in working order
• Prepare for next print job
• Check template (blanks) with eye marks and color

This is a Fulltime Temp-to-hire opportunity.
