Telemetry RN Job Details – Asheville, NC Location : Asheville, NC (28801) – North Carolina nursing jobs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650–$1770 Unit : 6 West Neurosciences, Main Campus Setting : On-Site, Travel Nursing Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 2 / 2025 – End : 2 / 1 / 2026) Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM (12 Hour Days) Hours per Week : 36 Number of Beds : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Scrub Color : Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible for North Carolina healthcare jobs Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) RN experience Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and NIHSS certifications Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Neurosciences or neuro nursing experience is a plus Outgoing, self-motivated, and team-oriented personality Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care on a 36-bed Neurosciences Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Perform clinical procedures including Foley catheter insertion and IV starts Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (RNs, CNAs, HUCs) Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR Float to other Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) units as needed Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code requirements Participate in every other weekend rotation as part of the nursing team Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
