ACADEMIC SURGERY POSITION - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The Section of Surgical Sciences is recruiting for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Assistant / Associate Professor level.  This is a clinically busy program with patient care responsibilities covering a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with an emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology, and reconstruction.  This is a superb opportunity for a surgeon interested in a busy practice in orthognathic and TM joint surgery. Faculty responsibilities of course include instruction and mentoring of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents.

Qualifications for this position include a D.D.S. / D.M.D. or combined dental / M.D. degrees, completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, board certification or active participation in the certification process by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
