Title of Role : Vice President Finance

East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Vice President Finance to join our Finance team!
The VP Finance will lead the FP&A function in transforming overarching company strategy into long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets. This role will have ownership of financial and management reporting, with an emphasis on Board communications. This role will be responsible for revamping the forecasting process with an emphasis on quarterly insights-based decision making and trade-offs.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN :
Operational Responsibilities 25% of time
Oversee the FP&A function and continuous improvement of processes for financial managementRefine and manage a robust quarterly process for planning, budgeting, and financial reportingProvide financial guidance to the Global Leadership Team and Directors; ensuring any risks are handled through a proactive opportunity management approach. Focused on action-oriented presentations, reporting and follow throughDevelop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecastProvide well-defined timelines and milestones, integrated with the budget holders and FP&A team, aligned with planning calendarStrategic Responsibilities 50% of time
Lead the management of the financial forecast during the 5-year planning processRefine and lead 24-month forecasting process in conjunction with the Integrated Business Planning teamUse and leverage digital budgeting tools for FP&A responsibilities and support the development and continuous improvement of digital tools usabilityBe a key thought leader for implementation of ERP toolSupport commercial and analytics teams in optimizing pricing, promotions, and associated investmentsSupport new products / new category project teams and business case preparationRelationship & Influencing Responsibilities 25% of time
Partner with global leadership team, directors, and department managers on an ongoing basis to deliver top and bottom-line financial resultsBe a trusted working partner, while providing challenge and stimulating suggestions to explore a different way to approach situationsEngage in performance development management including mentoring, coaching, providing continuous feedback, and completing activities associated with the annual performance reviewEmbrace and prioritize employee engagement as a foundational component of business resultsWHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED :
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience requiredMBA preferred7+ years of FP&A experience within a global organizationStrong knowledge of finance, accounting and strategyStrong knowledge of financial and management reportingAnalytical skills and ability to translate into business insightsConsumer products industry experience preferredManufacturing experience preferredYOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT :
