We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Connecticut. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial planning and analysis within the government sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving strategic business decisions through effective forecasting, data interpretation, and collaboration with various departments.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and oversee financial forecasts and reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights for leadership.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial presentations, highlighting key observations and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to support financial planning processes.
  • Provide coordination and analysis for the Long-Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address leadership inquiries and support business objectives.
  • Drive communication and decision-making by presenting clear financial insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain proficiency in relevant financial systems, including One Stream, to optimize reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and organizational policies.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within complex organizations.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as One Stream and SAP R / 3.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights and guide decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments, including Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Leadership skills to manage financial processes and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of variance analysis and forecasting methods.
