Travel Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN - $2,096 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel UNIT : NEURO / MEDSURG Clinical Interview with manager approval Minimum Experience REQUIRED : Two years of strong Med / Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Required Certs to be attached upon sl : Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Charting Experience : Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Float Requirement : First to float within skillset. Deaconess Midtown (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. Weekend / Holiday Requirement : Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday. Skillset : NIHSS / dysphagia screen / strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I’s & O’s / straight cath / Foleys, intitate / titrate heparin gtts., blood / blood product administration / venipuncture / blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
