Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a current CA RN license and OB certifications for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
  • Day shift schedule, working 3x12-hour shifts from 6 : 45 to 19 : 15
  • Circulate in the operating room as needed
  • EPIC charting system experience preferred
  • Care for obstetric patients in a high-acuity environment
  • Must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Modules will be completed during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
  • Return travelers must have been gone for at least one year before returning
  • Only one holiday off will be approved for time off requests
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away to receive travel rates; locals are accepted at a local pay rate

    • Requirements

  • Current, active CA RN license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required; must be AHA or American Red Cross
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required, 5 years highly preferred
  • Experience circulating in the operating room required
  • Must provide two professional references from the past year
