Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

StartDate : ASAP

Available Shifts : 8 E

Pay Rate : $2469.41 - $2705.84

CT / Rad Tech needed asap

Purpose of Position Performs computerized tomographic and radiographic procedures as requested by providers in a manner consistent with prescribed radiation protection safety standards.

External Perform computed tomography scanning and radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring constant attention to technical detail, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiologic diagnosis Operates control console for patient's scan Moves X-Ray equipment into proper position Selects proper imaging techniques and protocols Operates various peripheral hardware and equipment including mobile radiography equipment Operate mobile equipment in the Operating Room, Emergency Room and at patient’s bedside

minimum requirements for continuing education as directed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Massachusetts State Licensing.
