About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote therapy services to students across school districts in Michigan. In this role, you will deliver virtual speech and language services in pliance with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) and collaborate with educators and families to support student success.
This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for an experienced SLP who is tech-savvy, self-motivated, and passionate about helping students thrive through innovative teletherapy practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide virtual speech and language therapy to K12 students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine eligibility for services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
Utilize online platforms to engage students in interactive and effective therapy sessions
Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as district policies and procedures
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders
Current Michigan SLP License (required)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) (preferred, may consider CFY with strong supervision plan)
Minimum of 12 years of pediatric or school-based experience (teletherapy experience is a plus)
Strong munication, organization, and time management skills
fortable using technology for virtual therapy and documentation
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace
Preferred Skills :
Experience with online IEP systems and teletherapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, PresenceLearning, TheraPlatform, etc.)
Familiarity with Michigan state-specific education regulations and special education procedures
Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a plus, but not required
