Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in San Leandro, California . This is a great role for a travel or local COTA who enjoys working in a collaborative rehab environment and supporting patients on their journey toward greater independence.

Position Overview :

As a COTA, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to carry out treatment plans designed to improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and restore function.

Key Responsibilities :

Implement treatment activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist

Help patients improve fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and self-care routines

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and tools

Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising OT

Document daily treatments and assist in care plan updates

Qualifications :

Active California COTA license

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of recent experience preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset
