Human Resources Business Partner (Senior Generalist HR Manager)

Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior Generalist / HR Manager) serves as a key member of the HR team partnering directly with leaders managers and employees across the organization to drive a people-first culture and deliver tactical and strategic HR support. This individual will play a vital role in shaping employee engagement driving cultural engagement ensuring compliance and supporting organizational growth through effective people practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional ready to move into a broader leadership rolecomfortable serving cake at a birthday celebration one moment and collaborating with all levels of management the next. This is a 100% on-site role Monday through Friday with extended hours / weekend responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain HR systems using ADP Workforce Now including employee data management reporting benefits and payroll coordination.
• Support the full employee life cyclerecruitment onboarding development retention and offboardingwith a focus on consistency compliance and employee experience.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on company policies employee relations and HR best practices.
• Coordinate Workers Compensation and Unemployment internally and with TPAs
• Partner with leadership on organizational initiatives such as culture-building recognition programs and employee engagement events.
• Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deliver full-spectrum HR support including staffing employee relations performance management engagement and compliance.
• Manage and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all new hires.
• Assist with investigations documentation and resolution of employee relations matters across office warehouse sales and driver teams.
• Maintain working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA FMLA ADA EEO etc.) and ensure ongoing compliance in HR practices.
• Contribute to the development of HR policies programs and procedures that align with company values and evolving business needs.
• Participate in HR strategy sessions and special projects led by the Vice President of HR helping to translate strategy into actionable programs and outcomes.
