Position Summary
We are seeking a Process Engineer with a strong background in the engineering and design of natural gas processing facilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to process design, optimization, and technical support throughout all phases of project execution, from conceptual design to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams(P&IDs) for natural gas processing facilities.
- Perform process simulations and calculations for equipment sizing and system optimization.
- Prepare material and energy balances, process datasheets, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Support HAZOP reviews, safety studies, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical input during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues during commissioning and start-up.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience : Minimum 3 years of engineering and design experience in natural gas processing facilities (e.g., amine treating, dehydration, NGL recovery).
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ProMax).
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, NFPA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EPC project execution.
- Familiarity with modular plant design and skid-mounted systems.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance requirements.
