Job Details

Resource Pool position for ALL Medsurg / Stepdown / Tele units at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Epic experience required.

Level 1 trauma experience & Travel experience preferred.

Must be well rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General medicine, Oncology.

Ratios are 1 : 3 for Stepdown & 1 : 6 for Medsurg / Tele.

Each unit has up to 34 beds.

Job Requirements

ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire.

BLS (AHA) required.

Submission Requirements : Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system.

Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility.

Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years.

Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply.

Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email.

We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up.

Schedule Information

Weekend night cluster, F,S,S or S, S, M 7p-7a.

Units included : 8 EAST - MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor), 8 WEST - Stepdown / Floor, 8 NE - Stepdown, 6E - Long term antibiotic infusion unit, 7 EAST - Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit, 7 WEST (Stepdown & Floor), 7NE ortho Neuro, 10 EAST (Neuro Stepdown & EMU - Epilepsy Monitoring Unit), 10 WEST / 6 WEST - Neuro, 9 EAST - Surgical Oncology / MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor), 9 WEST / TCTU - Medical Oncology / Stepdown.
