CNC Machinist

General Description

Position : 1st shift CNC Programmer

Objective : Produce high-quality rubber molds and components through precise CNC programming

Key Duties / Responsibilities

CNC Programming :

Program Makino CNC machining centers for high-speed milling operations using Mastercam

Create 2D and 3D programs for molds and fixtures

Machining & Tool Work :

Perform high-precision machining of molds and fixtures

Revise existing tools as directed by Engineering

Team & Communication :

Collaborate effectively as part of a team

Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors

Time & Productivity Management :

Manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals

Prioritize programming tasks according to schedule

Quality & Compliance :

Complete Programming Checklists to ensure accuracy

Follow established procedures in a fast-paced, well-equipped tool room

Attendance & Reliability :

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance

Additional Duties

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform other tasks as requested by supervision

Prerequisite Qualifications

Experience : 5+ years of CNC programming

Skills :

2D and 3D programming experience

Mastercam proficiency

Ability to work with very tight tolerances

Mold building knowledge / experience

Good communication skills

Highly motivated team player
