Job Summary
Responsible to plan, direct, supervise and implement project quality control activities in compliance with project specification manuals and applicable company standards / programs in concert with test lab, architectural, code and owner authorities including all project disciplines. This classification reports to Project Manager and Superintendent jointly. No other positions report to Field Quality Control Officer. The Quality Engineer is responsible for project specific inspections and managing the Internal and External documentation. This position is part of the onsite management team.

Ability to perform advanced mathematical skills. Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy. Skill in assessment of proposed work, selection of forms and administrative tools to perform Q.C. essential functions. Ability to read and organize plans, specifications, product data sheets and technical data. Knowledge in the use of personal computer and software. Knowledge of special and technical process / test techniques. Communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Education
Two year or four-year construction science or engineering degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
2-3 years of Q.C. experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
