Shift : Hybrid

Pay Rate : $21.34 / hr

Contract Length : 12 Months

Overview :

The Baltimore Asset Services team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of corporate action events across the US, Canadian, and Latin American markets . These include Dividends, Mandatory Events, Voluntary Elections, Proxy Votes, and Class Actions .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Validate and interpret a full range of simple to complex mandatory corporate actions .
  • Manage end-to-end processing of corporate action events, including setup, validation, election, payment, and reconciliation.
  • Engage with multiple internal departments and Business Units, including Prime Brokerage , Financial Controllers , and the Trading Desk .
  • Handle a high volume of diverse inquiries from business units, stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Interface with corporate action data providers , counterparties, industry utilities, and third-party service providers.
  • Review daily processes, technology platforms, and workflows to identify and implement improvements.
  • Participate in system testing and support ongoing initiatives for increased coverage and service quality.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year college).
  • Proficient in internet and web-based applications .
  • Ability to interpret a wide range of reference materials and utilize third-party information provider interfaces (e.g., SWIFT , agents, and exchange portals).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented , with excellent record-keeping accuracy.
  • Strong organizational , written , and verbal communication skills.
  • Quick learner , adaptable, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to write technical documents , business specifications , test plans , and scripts .
  • Familiarity with Power BI , PathUI , or Alteryx is a plus (not required).
