Responsible for overhead crane and forklift operation, and banding and packaging of coils throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

• Overhead crane operation
• Operation of scanners / inventory systems
• Banding and or packaging of coils
• Forklift operation
• Loading / unloading of both truck and rail
• Assist with basic mechanical / electrical repair
• General housekeeping
• Completion of all required safety, production and quality documents
• Assist / cross-train wherever necessary to maintain production levels throughout the facility

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting, rotating shifts, overhead crane and forklift operation, and good mechanical aptitude.
