We’re hiring a server who can also bartend when needed. This is not a split position — it’s one team member who’s versatile, confident, and ready to jump in wherever the shift calls for it.

The Goat’s Beard is a high-energy New American restaurant and craft bar in Manayunk known for chef-driven food, Detroit-style pizza, creative cocktails, and a serious whiskey selection. We’re busy, we’re standards-driven, and we believe great service should feel polished but never stuffy.
What You’ll Do
As a Server:

Run a strong section with confidence and urgency

Guide guests through food and beverage selections

Upsell naturally and professionally

Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar
As a Bartender (When Scheduled or Needed):

Execute classic and seasonal cocktails with consistency

Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine

Control your bar top with personality and efficiency

Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized
We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has 2+ years of high-volume restaurant experience

Is comfortable both serving and bartending

Knows classic cocktails and basic builds without looking them up

Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Brings positive energy and a team-first mentality

Is available nights and weekends
