Shape tomorrow’s power systems with Siemens
Join the Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit and help bridge the real and digital worlds. From today’s reliable distribution grids to tomorrow’s Future Grids, we deliver systems and solutions that power how people live, work, and move. This role is based in Wendell, NC on our Motor Control Center (MCC) team.
A day in the life
Your shift begins with a walk-through of newly built low- and medium-voltage assemblies—switchgear, switchboards, and breakers—awaiting your final verdict. You review schematics and wire lists, set up high-potential (Hi-Pot) and other nondestructive tests, then methodically validate functionality and safety. If something isn’t right, you troubleshoot at the circuit level, collaborate with Engineering and our wiring team to correct issues, and document findings. You’ll wrap with quality reports and a quick stand-up on continuous improvement and EHS topics.
