Application Sales Technician

Overview

Our client is a high-end construction company seeking an Application Sales Technician with exceptional CAD / CAM expertise. The role is field-based across the UK and requires someone within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where CAD / CAM proficiency is paramount. You'll use your expertise to showcase machine capabilities, support installations, and provide ongoing training while managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to project delivery.

Salary : £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE

Location : Commutable to Milton Keynes, field-based

Type of Contract : Permanent

Hours : Monday - Friday 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Responsibilities

• Use CAD / CAM knowledge as the foundation for demonstrations, customer trials, and technical training.
• Actively respond to enquiries while seeking and developing new business opportunities across the UK.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry through to project completion, ensuring smooth delivery at every stage.
• Deliver technical training and aftersales support on-site and remotely, building long-term customer relationships.
• Represent the company at trade shows and training events in the UK and occasionally in Germany.
• Collaborate with a close-knit, innovative team to share insights and ideas for business growth.
