Position Overview

The Process & Application Lead V will serve as the Solution Lead for end-to-end delivery of high-quality SAP-enabled solutions within the Finance Workstream under SCE's NextGen ERP program. The role involves leadership across design, build, integration, testing, and deployment phases - ensuring successful implementation of SAP S / 4 HANA and related Finance applications within a complex utility environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and delivery for SAP Finance (S / 4 HANA) and integrated applications (e.g., BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, Blackline, OneSource, OpenText VIM, Taulia, Power Plan, Tagetik, Finance4U).
• Collaborate with System Integrator (SI) teams using a hybrid Agile (POD-based) delivery model, providing input into sprint planning and reviewing deliverables.
• Review and provide feedback on SI documentation including Functional / Technical Specs (FSD / TSD), Business Configuration Documents (BCD), Process Design Documents (PDD), and Business Process Procedures (BPP).
• Conduct architecture and technical reviews through governance and gating processes, ensuring compliance with SCE's standards and cloud architecture principles.
• Review SAP S / 4 configurations and provide approval and feedback for accuracy and completeness.
• Support development of RICEFW objects and ensure alignment with cloud-compliant S / 4 HANA standards.
• Collaborate with project, IT operations, and support teams during all testing phases (SIT / UAT / Performance / Regression), cutover, and go-live activities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring smooth delivery and transition to steady-state operations.
• Conduct post-go-live hypercare support and knowledge transfer to sustain long-term solution adoption.
