Job Title : Electrical Engineer III

Location : Pomona, CA 91767

Duration : 18 months

Pay Rate : $40 / hr - $50 / hr on W2

Hybrid (required onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload

  • Ensures technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner utilizing available resources
  • Supervises, leads, and coordinates work employees in the execution of new technical strategies, equipment or standards.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of engineering projects
  • Provides engineering and technical expertise and guidance for the identification, analysis and resolution of high impact, complex and / or cross-functional problems in engineering
  • Ensures the engineering facility design basis is controlled and design basis documentation is maintained
  • Conducts engineering and related studies with full technical responsibility for planning and coordinating high-impact complex projects

Required Skills / Attributes

  • Skills in using electrical diagnosis equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Basic networking knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with control panel layout and component mounting (e.g. DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays)
  • Skills in wire stripping, crimping, and routing neatly within enclosures
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Experience in instrumentation and data logging equipment
  • Experience in automation software (e.g. LabVIEW, Ovation)
  • Bachelor's Degree must be in a STEM Field.

    • Desired Skills / Attributes

  • Experience with energy storage, generators, microgrids a plus
  • Professional Electrical Engineer CA a plus but not required

    • Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree (must be in STEM field) required
