Seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to fulfill a critical role in a pharmacy setting located in State College, PA. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper medication use.
- Review and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, allergies, interactions, and dosing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy outes.
- Maintain pliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient inquiries.
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Licensed Pharmacist with active pharmacy license in the relevant state or eligibility to obtain one.Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication dispensing, and patient counseling.Previous experience as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.Excellent munication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving capabilities.Location :
