Overview
The Chief Product Officer (CPO) serves as the executive leader responsible for shaping, driving, and executing the overall product vision and strategy for AbsenceSoft. This role oversees all aspects of product management, innovation, design, and market alignment to ensure the company delivers cutting-edge leave management software solutions that meet evolving client needs. The CPO partners closely with other executive leaders to align product strategies with business objectives, while fostering a culture of innovation, scalability, and customer-centric design.

What You’ll Do
Define and execute the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AbsenceSoft’s solutions portfolio.Oversee the full lifecycle of product management, including ideation, requirements gathering, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.Lead, mentor, and develop the product organization, ensuring strong leadership pipelines and cross-functional collaboration.Partner with the CEO, CFO, CTO, CRO, and other executives to align product direction with overall corporate strategy.Anticipate and analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to inform product innovation and differentiation.Drive adoption of scalable, agile, and innovative practices within product development and delivery processes.Establish clear product success metrics and ensure measurement of ROI, adoption, and client satisfaction.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution and customer experience.Champion the voice of the customer across all product development and innovation initiatives.Ensure product design aligns with regulatory, security, and accessibility standards applicable to global markets.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and experimentation within the product organization.Serve as an executive ambassador for AbsenceSoft’s product vision with clients, partners, analysts, and industry leaders.Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles.Other duties as assigned.What’ll Set You Up for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of progressive product management experience, including 7+ years in senior executive leadership roles.Demonstrated success leading product strategy and execution in a SaaS or enterprise software company.Experience managing and scaling global product teams.Preferred Skills
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline.Prior experience in HR technology, benefits administration, or compliance-driven industries.Track record of leading product innovation in AI-enabled software solutions.Key Skills & Behaviors

We’re located in Golden, Colorado.This is a full-time, salaried position + bonus.AbsenceSoft provides a wide variety of perks and benefits, including full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
