Honda of Murfreesboro is seeking driven individuals who are motivated to be successful. No automotive experience is necessary, we will train you for success! Previous Retail, Marketing, Customer Service, or Hospitality experience translates well in this position!

Responsibilities Sales Consultant / Product Specialist :

Greet and assist clients with selecting the perfect vehicle

Demonstrate that vehicle and test drive with clients

Follow up with all sold and unsold clients

Field incoming client phone opportunities

Assist clients with the vehicle purchase process

Ensure clients know how to operate the vehicle properly upon taking delivery

Provide customers with the best experience to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met

Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers

Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business

Qualifications Sales Consultant / Product Specialist :

Positive attitude!

Strong work ethic and motivation!

People skills

Prior automotive sales experience is preferred but is not necessary. Great salespeople have come from different backgrounds : Industrial or manufacturing sales, retail sales, insurance sales, or rental car associates, to name a few.

Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards

Professional appearance, strong negotiation and presentation skills

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Computer knowledge and skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license and a good driving record
