As an RN at TRMC, you will be responsible for caring for assigned patients and directing others involved in patient care. You will focus on adult and geriatric patients, utilizing a patient-centered approach to deliver comprehensive nursing care. This role demands cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when working with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based on assessed needs.\n
- Demonstrate a patient-centered approach using the six steps of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reevaluation).\n
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in all nursing activities.\n
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the ICU, collaborating with the Emergency Department and Med / Surg Unit as needed.\n
- Strive to provide remarkable service, promoting customer service initiatives to patients, visitors, and physicians.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n
- Current Alabama RN or LPN License required.\n
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (TRMC will assist with obtaining this if needed).\n
- ACLS certification preferred.\n
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.\n
- A professional, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills is essential.\n
