Community Engagement Coordinator
Location : Dover, Delaware
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends
In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating communication, organizing community events, and collaborating with local stakeholders to ensure our programs and services are accessible and responsive to the needs of the people. Your key duties will include :
- Coordinating and hosting community outreach events, town halls, and informational sessions
- Gathering feedback and insights from community members to inform the development and improvement of our services
- Collaborating with local organizations, leaders, and residents to identify and address community needs
- Maintaining strong relationships with community partners and serving as a liaison between the agency and the public
- Assisting with the development and distribution of educational materials and resources
To be successful in this role, you should have :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, public administration, or community development2-3 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or public relationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiencesStrong organizational and project management abilitiesFamiliarity with local community resources and stakeholdersPassion for making a positive impact on the lives of citizens
