Executive Director of Institutional Research

The client is seeking an Executive Director of Institutional Research (ED) to oversee all institutional research activities at the college. The ED will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and communicating institutional data to stakeholders, utilizing predictive analytics and data visualization tools to support decision-making and strategic planning. Additionally, the ED will lead institutional assessment processes and produce reports on enrollment, demographics, retention, and graduation rates. They will also manage the submission of state and federal reports and provide education and training on data collection and analysis.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Applied Research or a related field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in statistically analyzing data in institutional research is required, along with proficiency in SQL and other programming languages. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is also necessary, as well as familiarity with higher education policies, procedures, accreditation, and standards. The ED will lead a team of research analysts and provide guidance on data interpretation and usage.
