Are you a compassionate caregiver who thrives on bringing comfort and support to those in need? We're looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Medication Technician(CNA / CMT) to join our caring, patient-centered team. In this role, you'll provide personal care and medication support to hospice patients in a way that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life.
What You'll Do :
- Assist patients with daily personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
- Administer medications safely and accurately per established protocols
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
- Support mobility and range-of-motion exercises
- Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment in the patient's living space
- Follow care plans created by the hospice team

Requirements
CNA / CMT Hospice House
Meets the training requirements of the State of Maryland and holds licensure as a CNAAt least 18 years of ageUnderstands or willing to learn the hospice philosophyComfortable working independently and providing specialized care to the terminally illSatisfactory references from previous employersProvides a calm manner around patients and familiesHas empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impairedPossess and maintains current CPR certificationDemonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygieneGood oral and written communication skillsSalary Description
$19 to $24 per hour
