American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist with active CCC-SLP and BLS certification for an acute care hospital setting, with coverage required across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care units.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is based in an acute care hospital setting with responsibilities in inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care unitsDay shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMFloats between various units as needed to provide coverageTherapists are required to wear brown or coral tops with khaki bottomsEligible candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facilityFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignmentMain responsibilities include providing speech therapy services to patients in acute, outpatient, and long-term care unitsModules must be completed prior to start and are included in orientation hoursOrientation is scheduled every other ThursdayCandidates with a permanent address between 75 and 100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basisPrevious permanent employees must wait two years after last employment to return as travelersCurrent employees of Vandalia Health System are not eligible for travel contracts at this facility\n \n Requirements\n
