Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping an attentive presence throughout the location. Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns in a timely manner, communicating with site management and / or Allied Universal as needed. Assist with access control, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location as directed by site policies. Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations, addressing violations and escalating issues according to established protocols. Collaborate with team members and site personnel to promote a secure environment tailored to a technology and media workplace. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Guard - Media Site Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. Wednesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
Thursday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
Sunday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
