Job description

Our Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing facility is located just outside of Albany NY and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing. The chosen candidate will be energetic and demonstrate great leadership qualities.  You  will assist in overseeing the nursing team ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all Federal, State and local rules and regulations, as well as our policies and procedures. The ADON will be in charge of specific duties within our nursing department.

  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Long Term Care setting.
  • The ideal candidate will have completed the 19.3 hours CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course. This is not required however preferred.
  • Coordinates and directs the total planning for nursing services to meet the needs of all residents.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Current New York RN unencumbered license required
  • Min. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings
  • 2 years management experience preferred
  • 1 year staff education experience preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills required
  • Evidence of great leadership skills
  • Comfortable with computer systems and electronic documentation

    • This is a full time, exempt position. Flexible hours including some weekend work is required. Great pay, Health Insurance, Dental, Time off, 401k, paid orientation.
