State Licensed Associate General Counsel

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel - Commercial Contracting.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including SaaS agreements and NDAs

Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to support contract negotiations

Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

10+ years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years in commercial contracting

Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance

Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements independently

Business-oriented mindset with a focus on balancing legal risk and commercial goals
