Job Role Summary

The Dental Assistant / EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) assists the dentist or dental hygienist. This position is responsible for exposing and processing X-rays, performs Expanded Restorative Dental procedures. The Dental Assistant / EFDA performs patient intake.  The Dental Assistant / EFDA successfully demonstrates compliance with quality assurance, improvement and safety requirements. This position consistently shows initiative, efficiency, problem solving skills, high attention to detail, and friendly customer service skills.
