Clinic Based Occupational Therapist, OT

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and capabilities of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific patient goals.
• Provide effective occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and progression.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and home exercises to support ongoing improvement.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting with a diverse patient population.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
