Assistant Land Surveyor

Requirements

Minimum Education Requirements :

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or surveying, with courses in field surveying on both plane and route surveying (with three years of experience)
• OR
• Two years of civil engineering course work and four years of experience as a member of a field survey party performing land surveying work in making precise readings, measurements and tests in the field, including one year of on-the-job field training

Minimum Experience Requirements :

• Three years full-time paid professional experience in performing routine, non-technical work in a surveying party, including one year on the job field training or experience
• Experience interpreting civil engineering drawings
• Experience in data collection by setting up and operating total stations, levels, GPS, and measuring lines, elevations and positions

• Salary Range : $116,000-$121,000
