Job Opening : Car Wash Maintenance Mechanic (Contract – 1099)

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join us as a 1099 contractor, providing both scheduled and on-call support to keep our equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities :
- Perform preventative maintenance twice a month on car wash equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems)
- Be available on-call for urgent repairs and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate service records and logs
- Coordinate with management for scheduling and project planning
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines
Requirements :
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a car wash or similar environmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumaticsAbility to read technical manuals and schematicsMust have your own tools and reliable transportationMust be able to bring an assistant if needed for specific products or projectsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyValid driver’s licenseAvailability for occasional weekend or emergency repairsCompensation & Terms :
