This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and consistent meal service. The Line Cook maintains a clean and organized workstation, adheres to food safety standards, and contributes to a positive kitchen culture.Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities : Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.Ensures all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef.Cooking and Assembling Dishes - Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality.Maintains a clean and organized workstation.Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.Secondary Responsibilities : Must become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities & services Other duties as assigned Specific Job Skills : License / Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification is preferredTechnical - Knife skillsPhysical Capabilities - Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
