By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.59 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Wed 03 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 03 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and visitors to promote a secure environment.
  • Document and communicate security-related incidents and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid drivers license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
