Registered Nurse

Available Shifts : \n\nFull-time, Day Shift (7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm)\n\nFull-time, Night Shift (7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am)\n\nWalk in Weekday Interviews are held every Monday- Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm each day, no appointment needed.\n\nThe Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to inpatients. This position assesses patients and creates a plan of care that is individualized and is reflective of each patient's needs and goals. The Registered Nurse supervises activities of care, treatment and services of patient provided by LPN / LVNs, RNTs / CNAs, and other staff on assigned unit and shift. This position communicates information with the interdisciplinary team and reports patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and / or physician in a timely manner.\n\nJobcode : \n\nLicense or Certification : \n\n- Current RN licensures appropriate to state regulations.\n\n- BLS certification (ACLS preferred).\n\n- CRRN certification preferred.\n\nMachines, Equipment Used : \n\n- General office equipment such as computer / laptop, telephone, copy / fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.\n\n- Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.\n\nPhysical Requirements : \n\n- Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity.\n\n- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds including medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and / or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.\n\nSkills and Abilities : \n\n- Oral communication, written communication, active listening. Must be able to speak and understand English.\n\n- Information ordering, deductive reasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, critical thinking.\n\n- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.\n\n- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.\n\nEnvironmental Conditions : \n\n- Indoor, temperature controlled, smoke-free environment.\n\n- Handicapped accessible.\n\n- May work under stressful circumstances at times.\n\nProficiency or Productivity Standards : \n\n- Has regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and punctuality.\n\n- Adheres to dress code including wearing ID badge.\n\n- Adheres to Standards of Business Conduct.\n\n- May be required to work weekdays and / or weekends, evenings and / or night shifts if needed to meet deadlines.\n\n- May be required to work on religious and / or legal holidays on scheduled days / shifts.\n\n- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\n\n- This position will support cultural diversity by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
